Judge #3- If the description had not clarified this is a tulip bloom the viewer might wonder which material is being portrayed. Smart to picture a tulip in an uncharacteristic manner than the more typical profile image. Excellent use of lighting makes the petals seem to glow from within.

Judge 2. One of the things I like about this masterly photographed work is the almost scientific study of the tulip contrasting with the sensual play of shadows and light and the emphasis on the flower’s arabesque patterns.
