Judge #5-The photo captures the energy of the weaver, she seems happy that someone has noticed her activity, seems open and relaxed, a true snapshot, a moment in time, perhaps her typical activity which the photographer is respectfully interested in, I say respectfully, as she doesn’t give us any indication that she is annoyed, actually quite the opposite. I would guess that this photographer is approachable, which is a needed skill if one pursues street photography.
Judge #3 says:
Judge #3- Very nice portraiture of the face. The weaver is on break, captured in a moment of conversation perhaps. I do wish the hands were not cropped out of the image. Even while not working, a weaver’s hands can convey so much information. Excellent use of lighting.
