I like the contrast in the photo, as well as the sharp, shallow depth of field. The two leaves on the side form a, sort of, pseudo horizon line, driving the focus right down the middle of the photo. Great title choice, as the water drops sparkle like “diamonds”.
There are 3 photographic entrees in the contest, each worthy of a prize. I chose this as the 2nd of the three because of the way that it takes an unremarkable image and makes it remarkable. The highlights are the water drops, strewn like jewels that will soon evaporate. High marks for creativity.
